Frankfort, IL – Community Tackles Healthy Eating with Free Workshop

Frankfort, IL – In an initiative to promote healthy eating habits and address the complexities of food cravings, Frankfort Park District will host a free workshop titled “How to Battle Hunger & Cravings” at Founders Community Center on April 23. 

The event, open to individuals 18 and older, requires pre-registration for participation. Nutrition & Wellness Program Manager Christine Rosandich will lead the session, focusing on the influence of stress, hormones, and certain foods on eating patterns. The workshop aims to educate attendees on breaking unhealthy cycles and making informed nutritional choices, contributing to the overall wellness of the community.
