Madison, WI – After nearly 2,000 incidents involving farm vehicles in the past five years, the Wisconsin State Patrol is urging drivers to exercise caution on the roads. This push for awareness coincides with the onset of the planting season, when the number of farm vehicles typically increases.

According to state authorities, the goal is to prevent accidents by promoting patience and the strict observance of traffic regulations, particularly when sharing the road with slower agricultural machinery. The 2023 report showed 388 preliminary incidents, highlighting the ongoing risk and the critical need for heightened driver attention and safety.
