Fatal Wisconsin Crash Leaves One Dead; Manhunt for Driver Ongoing

Columbia County, WI – A fatal crash in the Town of Lewiston late Sunday has left a 21-year-old woman dead and authorities searching for the driver. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 11:08 PM, discovering the driver had fled.

According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the deceased was found entrapped in the passenger seat. A search using a thermal drone and K-9 units failed to locate the driver, Keegin Neveln, 26, of rural Portage.

Authorities have issued probable cause for Neveln’s arrest on felony charges related to the crash. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 608-742-4166 or submit a tip through Columbia County Crimestoppers.
