Fuel Leak Alert: John Deere Recalls XUV590 Gator Vehicles Over Fire Risk

MOLINE, IL – John Deere, the renowned agricultural equipment manufacturer, has issued a recall alert for its XUV590 Gator utility vehicles due to a potential fire hazard. 

The company discovered that fuel can leak from under the fuel cap, posing a significant risk of fire. As a precautionary measure, consumers are advised to immediately cease using the recalled XUV590 Gator utility vehicles and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free inspection. If necessary, John Deere will provide a free repair. The company is directly reaching out to all known purchasers.

The recall includes the following John Deere XUV590 models: XUV590E, XUV590M, and XUV590M S4 Gator utility vehicles. 

Approximately 1,600 units are affected by the recall, with an additional 60 units sold in Canada.
