Grant County, IN – Man Dies in Tragic Grant County

Grant County, IN – A tragic accident on Western Avenue near 4th Street in Marion, Indiana, Friday just before 5:30 pm resulted in the death of a local man. 

According to the Indiana State Police, the collision involved a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 19-year-old Antwone Williams of Marion, and a 1989 Ford Ranger. The Ford Ranger, driven by 56-year-old James Miller, also from Marion, was struck on the driver’s side as Williams’ vehicle continued southbound into the intersection.

Miller was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Williams sustained minor injuries, while his passenger was not harmed. The incident is currently under active investigation by the Indiana State Police, with contributions from the Marion Police Department and other local emergency services.
