Green Bay residents can expect varied weather this week, with a mix of sunshine and thunderstorms.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, unsettled conditions will persist through Tuesday evening, as north to northwest winds of 15 to 25 knots and waves of 3 to 5 feet create hazardous conditions for small craft. As a result, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. today, advising holiday-goers to exercise caution if venturing out on the water.
From Wednesday through Friday, high pressure will bring dry conditions, clear skies, and temperatures in the 60s. Wednesday and Thursday will see mostly sunny skies, with highs of 64°F and 67°F, respectively. Friday will also be sunny, with temperatures reaching up to 75°F.
However, the weekend will see a return of unsettled weather, with the next chance of thunderstorms holding off until next weekend. Saturday’s forecast includes partly cloudy skies with a high of 69°F, and a slight chance of showers late in the day.
Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates, especially those planning outdoor activities or water-related excursions. The mix of midweek sunshine and weekend storms highlights the importance of monitoring local weather forecasts.
