Hobart, IN – $5,000 Reward Offered for Leads on 20-Year-Olds Found Dead in Apartment Homicide

Hobart, IN – The Hobart community is still reeling from an unsolved double homicide that took the lives of two young women, Destiny Jackson and Nazirah Muhammad, both aged 20. 

The Hobart Police Department is intensifying their appeal for clues, announcing a $5,000 reward for information that leads to filing criminal charges in the case. On the afternoon of November 4, 2022, police officers were called to the 400 block of Ruta Drive for a welfare check and made the grim discovery. Both victims had been fatally shot, and their deaths were quickly ruled as homicides by authorities.

In the wake of the tragedy, investigators are combing through all available leads and encourage anyone with information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, to come forward. Hobart Police assert the importance of community collaboration in these efforts and offer confidentiality to those who may need it.
