TROY, IL – Across Illinois, baseball and pizza share a cherished space in many hearts. But in Troy, the bond is reportedly being exploited.

According to Troy Police, a young boy in a soiled pink baseball uniform, barely six, is allegedly selling bogus “Buy One Get One Free” Dominos gift cards, all under the guise of a baseball team fundraiser. Though his innocence might deceive, it’s believed he’s not acting solo. An adult might be in the backdrop, orchestrating this scam.

Residents statewide, especially in Troy, are urged to exercise caution. Any suspicious activity should be promptly reported to Troy Police at 618-667-6731. Illinois, stay alert and verify before you buy!
