Illinois’ Attorney General Kwame Raoul has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Attorney General said he’s been self-isolating since first experiencing symptoms. Raoul says after “experiencing minor symptoms over the weekend” he was tested Monday and was told today of the positive results.

Contact tracing to find out what individuals Raoul may have come in contact with is now underway.

Raoul says so far his symptoms have been mild and is following “recommendations to protect those around me.”
