Sparksville, IN – A Sparksville woman was arrested on Monday marking the culmination of a year-long investigation by Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section Detectives and Troopers from the Bloomington District.
According to Indiana State Police reports the operation unveiled a significant methamphetamine dealing operation extending to Lawrence and Jackson County residents.
The investigation into Rhonda Jones, 57, involved a reportedly sophisticated investigative strategies, leading to the alleged discovery and seizure of more than three pounds of methamphetamine, over $50,000 in cash, two handguns, and a substantial amount of marijuana from her residence.
Jones now faces severe legal charges, including allegations of Dealing in Methamphetamine and a Level 3 Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine, among others.
Jones was taken to the Jackson County Jail, highlighting the serious consequences of drug trafficking activities. This arrest underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug distribution networks.
