SOUTH BEND, IN – A devastating event unfolded at Adams High School on Monday, Oct. 2, when a freshman student unexpectedly passed away due to an “isolated health-related incident.”
The student, whose identity has not been released, was promptly provided medical assistance at the school and then transferred to a local hospital. The South Bend Community School Corporation conveyed deep condolences, noting, “Our hearts are with the student’s family, as well as the staff and students of Adams High School during this difficult time.”
To assist the grieving Adams community, the school has deployed additional counselors and social workers. Students seeking emotional help are encouraged to contact school officials.
