Indiana: I-70 Westbound Closed Due to Semi-Truck Collision and Fire

Clay County, IN – A major traffic disruption occurred on Interstate 70 Westbound near mile marker 129 following a collision involving two semi-trucks, one of which caught fire. 

According to Indiana State Police, the incident resulted in minor injuries. Emergency crews are currently on the scene managing the situation and working diligently to clear the crash area.

Motorists are advised to avoid this section of the interstate and seek alternative routes. Traffic on I-70 Westbound is being diverted at mile marker 131. 

Authorities will provide updates as the situation progresses and the interstate reopens. Travelers should remain alert for further advisories and exercise caution in the vicinity of the incident.
