Lake County, IN – U.S. 30 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Lake Street and Clark Road starting Monday, June 10, through late July for bridge deck overlay maintenance at Plum Creek.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, lane closures will alternate, and motorists should prepare for changing traffic patterns. A detour will be in place for trucks wider than 11 feet.

Additionally, the speed limit on U.S. 30 between the Illinois State Line and U.S. 41 will be reduced to 35 mph through the fall due to ongoing construction.
