Iroquois County, IL – Pickup Truck Goes Airborne, Rollover Hospitalizes Two

Iroquois County, IL – A routine drive turned perilous in Iroquois County this weekend. 

According to the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police, two individuals were hospitalized following a dramatic single-vehicle crash in northern Ashkum Township. Reports indicate that on Saturday, a pickup truck driven by Victor Lewis was northbound on 700 E. Road. In a startling sequence of events, the truck left the roadway, launched airborne across 2800 N., rolled over, and eventually rested on its side. 

Emergency responders quickly transported both occupants of the pickup to a hospital for treatment.  No word on the severity of injuries. Lewis is now facing multiple traffic-related charges.
