Iroquois County, IL – Woman Arrested Following String of Break-ins in Gilman

GILMAN, IL, – A series of car and shed break-ins prompted an investigation that led to the arrest of Sharon R. Cole, a 40-year-old Gilman woman. 

According to Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police, the break-ins, which took place in the 300 to 500 blocks of North Thomas, were reported to authorities last Wednesday. An extensive investigation by officers culminated in the discovery of several allegedly stolen items in Cole’s possession. 

Cole now faces burglary charges as a result of the findings. The local law enforcement is actively seeking further information from the public to aid in their ongoing inquiry into the incidents.
