BOURBONNAIS, IL – The Village of Bourbonnais has announced it is now accepting applications for Seasonal Summer Workers within its Public Works Department. This recruitment effort, aimed at filling several positions, will continue until Friday, April 19th, 2024, with a cutoff time for applications at 4 p.m. Successful candidates will embark on their roles starting mid-May, continuing through August, with a compensation rate of $15 per hour.
According to the official job announcement on the Village of Bourbonnais website, these seasonal roles are designed to support the village’s ongoing public works projects. Workers will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, building and grounds maintenance, vegetation management, and the operation of small equipment such as lawn mowers and trimmers. The positions are outdoor-based, with work schedules adaptable to weather conditions.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and pass a drug test. Individuals 18 years and older are encouraged to apply, especially those with previous experience in facility or outdoor maintenance.
