BOURBONNAIS, IL – Residents of Kankakee County in need of food assistance are encouraged to visit The Original Secret Pantry’s mobile food pantry event, happening later today.
Scheduled for this afternoon, February 1st, the pantry will be available from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. This week features a new timing for the event, and it is open to all, with no financial or residential restrictions.
Organizers advise attendees to arrive no more than 30 minutes early and to follow a designated route for smooth access. Starting on Illinois Route 102 (Main Street NW), the route continues onto Stratford Drive East, then right onto Briarcliff Lane, and another right onto Plum Creek Drive. Vehicles will be staged on Plum Creek Drive, leading to food pickup on Briarwood Lane.
