Kankakee County, IL – Three Vehicles Stolen Within Two Hours in Early Morning Heist

Kankakee County, IL – In a startling series of events, three vehicles were stolen in Kankakee County within a two-hour window early Monday morning. The Tri-County Auto Task Force is currently investigating the thefts, which occurred between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM.

The first vehicle, a white 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, was taken from the 1400 block of West Hawkins in Kankakee. Shortly after, a 2019 Dodge Challenger was stolen from the 1100 block of Justine Drive in Bourbonnais. The third theft involved a 2020 white Jeep Grand Cherokee, stolen from the 2900 block of Waldron Road. 

Investigators are seeking assistance from the public and encourage anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 81593 CRIME. Informants may be eligible for a cash reward. The task force is focusing on locating the stolen vehicles and identifying the suspects involved in these early morning thefts.
