BRADLEY, IL – Fall is in full swing, and so was the excitement at the Tenth Annual Scarecrow Contest & Festival over the weekend.

The festive event saw a dazzling display of creativity and talent, drawing countless visitors and participants eager to showcase their unique scarecrow creations.

In the coveted Business Category, the top spot went to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Speckman Realty, followed by the whimsical creations from Bubbles and Barks, and Embrace Consignment nabbing third.

For the Non-Profit/Schools/Youth Organizations, Bourbonnais Elementary School District #53 emerged victorious. Kankakee County Museum & Historical Society and Girl Scout Troop 7557 took second and third, respectively.

The Individual/Families Category celebrated the Gosset-Reid Miller Family’s efforts with a first-place win. Susan Barton & Wendy Robinson’s collaborative piece secured second, while Cheyenne Stone’s scarecrow earned her third place.

The much-anticipated People’s Choice Awards recognized Polaris Salon as the favorite. Embrace Consignments, already a Business Category winner, secured the second spot, and Dunkin Donuts rounded out the top three. The event was sponsored by Ascension Saint Mary Hospital.

Perry Farm invites everyone to marvel at the scarecrow displays, capturing the essence of autumn and community throughout October.
