Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police Investigate Drive-by Shooting Incident

KANKAKEE, IL -County Sheriff’s Police are currently investigating a drive-by shooting incident that occurred on Sunday night at around 8:45 pm on 16000 E Road near 4300 S. According to reports, 10 shots were fired, but no one was hurt, and no damage was reported.

The police are currently searching for a small sedan that was seen in the area during the time of the incident. Shell casings were recovered at the scene of the crime, and the investigation is ongoing.

The police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the suspect vehicle to come forward and contact them. The police are also reminding residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities immediately.
