ROLLA, Mo. (March 6, 2024) – The Missouri University of Science and Technology, known for its rigorous academic standards and STEM-focused curriculum, has released its honor list for the Fall 2023 semester. Among the achievers are several students from Kankakee County, Illinois, who have excelled academically, earning a spot on this prestigious list.
To qualify for the honor roll, students must maintain a full-time status with a minimum of 12 hours and achieve a grade point average of 3.2 or higher out of a possible 4.0. This achievement underscores the dedication and hard work of the students in pursuit of their academic goals.
Notable students from Kankakee County include Kamden Lockwood of Bonfield, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering; Jacob Lehman of Bourbonnais, a sophomore studying nuclear engineering; Madison Offerman of Herscher, a junior in aerospace engineering; and Armarion Parnell of Kankakee, a freshman pursuing a degree in computer science.
Missouri S&T, part of the four-campus University of Missouri System and located in Rolla, Missouri, offers 101 degrees across 40 areas of study.
