Bourbonnais Grief Center Offers ‘Mess of Feelings’ Workshop to Aid Grieving Families

Bourbonnais, IL – The UpliftedCare Community Grief Center in Bourbonnais is hosting a unique event aimed at helping individuals and families navigate their grief journey. The workshop titled “A Mess of Feelings – Grief Survival Workshop” is scheduled for March 16, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 am.

According to the center, the workshop will allow participants to understand the complexity of grief-related feelings and provide them with a Grief Survival Kit, containing tools to manage their emotional journey. Additionally, the Vet-to-Vet Café on March 20th offers veterans a space to connect with peers and access supportive resources. 

These events are part of UpliftedCare’s wide range of free services, designed to support the community through various stages of grief. The full schedule of weekly support groups includes sessions for loss of parents, spouses, children, and special sessions for first responders starting in May.
