Lombard, IL – Embrace the arrival of spring with the Lombard Historical Society’s Lilacia Park Heritage Tours. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the horticultural wonders of Lilacia Park, highlighted by an immersive guided tour. 

According to the Lombard Historical Society, the tours will begin at the Carriage House located at 23 W. Maple Street, not at Lilacia Park, providing an educational journey through the park’s vibrant history and horticulture. The tours are set to take place from May 1 to May 18, 2024, with an additional tour on Mother’s Day, May 12. 

Enthusiasts and history buffs alike are invited to indulge in the beauty of the park’s famous lilacs and enrich their knowledge of the area’s heritage. Registration is required, and the tours are affordably priced at $8 per person, making it accessible to all who wish to participate in this seasonal event.
