Saturday Night Disturbance: Shots Fired in Homewood, Police Appeal for Information

HOMEWOOD, IL – Saturday night took a startling turn when, at 8:10 PM, Homewood Police responded to reports of an altercation and gunshots in the 17500 block of Dixie Highway. 

Although officers on the scene couldn’t identify any immediate threats or involved subjects, several shell casings were discovered. 

Authorities suspect this was an isolated incident and are now urging witnesses or anyone with information to step forward. Those with details are encouraged to contact the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit at 708/206-3420.
