Kankakee County Teen Shot after Apparent Accidental Discharge

KANKAKEE, IL – A 15-year-old teenager was shot in the foot Wednesday in what appears to be an accidental discharge of a firearm in the Limestone community. 

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police have confirmed an accident involving a juvenile took place in the area. However, information on the precise location within the community and the condition of the injured teenager is currently limited at this time.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are expected to release further updates soon.
