Kenosha, WI – The Kenosha Sheriff’s Department has unveiled a new fundraising campaign aimed at bolstering its K9 Unit.

According to the department’s media release, beginning March 11th, citizens can make donations to support the training and equipment needs of the unit’s canine officers. As a gesture of gratitude, the department is offering unique K9 unit plushies and custom-designed challenge coins for donations starting at $20, with a limit of five items per contributor.

Endorsed by the Kenosha County Board and realized in partnership with The Lettering Machine, a local business that produces K9 unit-themed apparel. The proceeds from the sales of these items will directly benefit the K9 unit. The campaign not only aids in funding the department’s canine program but also strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the community.

The initiative has been designed to be inclusive and family-friendly, with plans to announce a special fundraising event that will welcome individuals of all ages.
