Paducah, KY – Kentucky residents should prepare for a wet and stormy weekend as scattered thunderstorms are expected to move across the region. A cold front will bring showers and storms to Paducah and surrounding areas today.

According to the US National Weather Service, the weather will dry out briefly on Thursday and Friday, bringing mostly sunny skies and lower humidity. High temperatures during this period will range from 82-87 degrees, with cooler nights dipping into the upper 50s and low 60s.

However, the break in the weather will be short-lived. Rain chances will rise again as we head into the weekend. Scattered thunderstorms are forecasted for both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures remaining in the upper 70s to low 80s during the day and mid-60s at night.
