Lake County, IL – The Partners for Clean Air (PCA) is now accepting applications for their annual scholarship awards aimed at fostering environmental stewardship and academic excellence in Northwest Indiana. According to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, PCA will grant $2,500 scholarships to select high school seniors from Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties.
Eligible students must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a commitment to clean air initiatives. The application process prioritizes community service and involvement in environmental programs, with a deadline set for April 30.
Recipients, chosen by the PCA Steering Committee, will receive funds in August to support their college or trade school education in fields that promote air quality and public health. Since its inception, PCA has distributed $25,000 in educational aid, reinforcing its dedication to a cleaner, healthier environment.
