Lansing, IL – Shots Fired, Vehicle Fire Incidents Under Investigation

Lansing, IL – Lansing Police Department reported Thursday two incidents that may be connected: a shots fired call and a vehicle fire. 

According to the press release, officers initially responded to a shots fired call at 8:28 pm on Wildwood Avenue. Later, a car with multiple bullet holes was found on fire on 185th Street. 

No injuries were reported in the vehicle fire, and the individuals from the shooting incident have been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Both cases are currently under investigation, and the public is urged to come forward with any information.
