Bourbonnais Celebrates Festive Cheer: Winners of the 4th Annual Holly Jolly Holiday Lighting Contest Announced

Bourbonnais, IL – The fourth annual Holly Jolly Holiday Lighting Contest in Bourbonnais, sponsored by Brandon Casey’s Comfort Crew and ComEd, has successfully concluded with an impressive community participation. In the Traditional Category, the first place was awarded to the Ramirez Family at 715 Tremont St., followed by the Toepfer Family at 1225 Patriot Way securing the second place. The third place in this category was taken by Bill & Sherri Guertin at 115 Barrington Dr., with the Richmond Family at 636 Cherokee Dr. and the Demarah Family at 38 Bonds Dr. receiving fourth and fifth places, respectively.

In the People’s Choice Category, the first place went to the McCoy Family at 695 School Dr., who received a remarkable 593 votes. Following them, the Ramirez Family, also first in the Traditional Category, took second place with their display at 715 Tremont St., receiving 532 votes. The Toepfer Family at 1225 Patriot Way, ranked third with 308 votes. Nicholas Grant at 19 Castle Coombe Dr. and the Waskosky Family at 633 Jeremy Dr. achieved the fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The contest witnessed 30 entries in total, with a massive 3,688 votes cast, underscoring the community’s enthusiasm and engagement in the holiday festivities. Residents and visitors are encouraged to view these dazzling holiday homes through December 25th, with an online map available to guide them. This event not only brightens the village with festive lights but also brings the community together, fostering a warm, celebratory atmosphere during the holiday season.
