PORTER COUNTY – Shockwaves rippled through the community of Kouts as Christopher Hultquist, a 33-year-old man, was arrested on alleged charges of child exploitation. The Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led an extensive investigation into the case.

The probe began when investigators received numerous cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding a specific phone number. Detectives meticulously gathered evidence, leading to the issuance of a search warrant for Hultquist’s residence.

On Monday, law enforcement executed the warrant, resulting in the discovery of child sexual abuse material in Hultquist’s possession. He was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Porter County Jail.

Hultquist now faces multiple felony charges, including child exploitation awaiting a bond hearing.
