MANTENO, IL – A Manteno landscaping company is reeling after thieves stole a pickup truck and trailer with equipment inside earlier this week.
Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police said the burglary happened early Monday morning on the South East side of Manteno. That’s when somebody arrived in a tan pickup at 1:30 am, stole the company’s pickup truck along with the trailer attached to it and in turn, the equipment inside.
Fortunately, the pickup was later found in Matteson. No dollar amount on the items stolen has been released.
The company is appealing to the public for help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 815-93CRIME.
