Michigan-based Revolution Farms is voluntarily recalling 14 different lettuce and salad products packed between March 3 and March 11 due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products were sold under the Revolution Farms brand name in six Midwest states, including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, at stores and distributors including SpartanNash Meijer stores, Bridge St. Market, and Fresh Thyme Market Grand Rapids.

The Michigan Department of Agriculture detected Listeria in a random sample test of a single package of Revolution Farms Green Sweet Crisp. Listeria can cause serious, sometimes fatal infections, particularly in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

No illnesses have been reported as of Thursday, but the US Food and Drug Administration advises consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products to dispose of them or return them to the store for a full refund. The recalled products include Green Sweet Crisp 5oz Retail, Michigan Spring Mix 5oz Retail, Robust Romaine 5oz Retail, Romaine Lettuce Boats 5oz Retail, Sweet Crisp Deli Leaf 5oz Retail, and Whole Leaf Romaine 5oz Retail.

Other recalled products are Sesame Ginger Crunch 6 oz Salad Kit, Traverse City Cherry 6 oz Salad Kit, Zesty Southwest 6 oz Salad Kit, Farmer’s Mix 3lb Bulk, Great Lakes Gourmet 3lb Bulk, Green Sweet Crisp 3lb Bulk, Michigan Spring Mix 3lb Bulk, and Robust Romaine 3lb Bulk. The full list of recalled products is available on the FDA website.
