MOSES LAKE, WA – A 44-year-old Moses Lake man was arrested Sunday after deputies say he allegedly punched a woman multiple times during an incident in an unincorporated area of Grant County.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report near Kathy Drive NE and Broad Street NE, where Nicolas Brice was reportedly witnessed punching a woman in the face four times. Authorities said the man and the woman knew each other prior to the incident.

According to officials, Brice did not comply with deputies’ commands to surrender and instead allegedly took a confrontational stance. Deputies deployed a K-9 during the arrest, which resulted in bite injuries. Authorities also reported that Brice was found carrying two BB pistols concealed in his waistband, both with fluorescent orange safety markings removed.

Brice was treated at Samaritan Healthcare for the K-9 bite injuries before being booked into the Grant County Jail. He now faces multiple charges, including fourth-degree assault related to domestic violence, resisting arrest, and obstructing law enforcement.

Officials have not released additional details about the condition of the alleged victim. The case remains under investigation, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
