CENTRAL ILLINOIS – Sky enthusiasts and stargazers in Central Illinois are in for a treat as the Starlink satellites pass overhead in a spectacular celestial orbit.

Clear your schedule tonight at 9:50 p.m. for a chance to witness these satellites gliding from west to east for approximately five minutes. If you miss it, don’t worry – more opportunities await.

They should begin appearing later tonight beginning around 10:03 p.m., followed by Thursday at 10:14 p.m., and Friday at 10:23 p.m. These string lights, often mistaken for Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), are part of SpaceX’s mission to provide satellite internet access globally.
