CHICAGO – Fans of “The Office” can relive the Dunder Mifflin experience at Navy Pier next month. An interactive fan convention called “The Reunion” will take place on April 22 and April 23, featuring a large gathering of the show’s cast members.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with nearly 30 cast members, including Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute), Brian Baumgartner (Kevin Malone), Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer), Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton), Oscar Nunez (Oscar Martinez), Paul Lieberstein (Toby Flenderson), and Andy Buckley (David Wallace). The event will also have professional photo ops and immersive photo opportunities where fans can recreate memorable scenes from the show.
The event organizers are encouraging cosplay, and there will be a Dundie Awards ceremony to give out trophies for the best costumes and other categories. Fans can also participate in an Office-style mockumentary interview, compete in events from the “Beach Games” episode, and take a seat at Michael Scott’s desk while holding a “World’s Best Boss” mug.
The event will feature a 625-square-foot inflatable replica of the Dunder Mifflin office building, panel discussions, a trivia contest, and a Saturday night comedy show. The tickets for the reunion start at $50 and are available on Reunioncon.com. The event is hosted by the same organizers who put together “Dunder Con” in New Jersey last August but is expected to reunite even more cast members.
The show, which aired from 2005 to 2013 on NBC and now streams on Peacock, has a massive fan base.
