State Troopers locate man who fled crash on I-57

PAXTON – Illinois State Troopers announced late Wednesday they had located a man who fled the scene of a crash on I-57 Tuesday afternoon.

According to State Police, Sergio Huerta, 27 of Huntsville, Texas fled an accident after he allegedly hit a woman while passenger in a Honda Accord, causing her to loose control of her vehicle and collide with a Freightliner Truck Tractor Semi-Trailer.

The woman and two girls in the car were injured in the crash while Huerta fled the scene.  All involved in the crash are expected to be okay.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released by State Troopers on the incident.
