DEWALT recalls nearly 1.4 Miter Saws due to safety risk

CHICAGO – DEWALT is recalling roughly 1,364,000 Miter Saws due to a risk of the rear safety guard breaking or detaching.

In total the company relieved 571 reports of the DeWALT 12-inch Sliding Compound Miter Saws rear safety guard breaking or detaching, including nine reports of injuries attached to the risk.

The Miter Saws are marked Models DWS779, DWS780 and DHS790 and were sold from April 2019 to May 2022 at Lowe’s, Home Depot and other hardware stores nationwide.
