BRACEVILLE, IL – In a stroke of luck, a passing crane truck played a pivotal role in rescuing a woman trapped under a tractor in her front yard last Friday.

The unnamed truck and its driver coincidentally arrived just in time to lift the heavy machinery, aiding in the woman’s liberation. Prior to the crane’s arrival, fire crews had been on the scene working to free the woman, whose arm was pinned under the tractor’s hood.

Fire crews from the Braceville and Gardner Fire Protection Districts were already on the scene near Kankakee Road and Dondanville Road.

The woman was subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital, and the identities of the crane truck operator and the company remain unknown. Fate smiled upon them during this incredible rescue.
