Chicago Man Arrested in Dwight for Heroin Distribution; Faces Half-Million Dollar Bond

DWIGHT, IL – A Cook County man has been arrested for allegedly trafficking heroin in Livingston County. 

Abdoul R. Diallo, 22, of Chicago, was taken into custody on June 27th following a narcotics investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Proactive Unit. 

According to reports, Authorities seized 4.25 ounces of heroin during the operation. Diallo is charged with Manufacturing and Delivering between 15 and 100 grams of heroin, a class X felony. Officers report seizing a fourth of a pound of heroin as evidence in the arrest. The alleged delivery took place in Dwight. Diallo is currently held at the Livingston County Jail on a $500,000 bond. 

Sheriff Ryan Bohm praised the efforts of his Proactive Unit and highlighted their dedication to community safety.
