Multiple Rollover Semis on I-57 Triggers Traffic Chaos

TUSCOLA, Ill. – Illinois State Police are responding to a series of rollover incidents involving multiple semis on I-57 southbound. 

The mishaps, caused by powerful winds, have resulted in minor injuries. Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area as traffic is being diverted at the Tuscola exit. The accidents occurred during a severe storm, with strong wind gusts, heavy rain, and lightning. 

Emergency crews are working tirelessly to clear the wreckage and restore normalcy. 

Investigation into the incidents is underway, and the affected section of I-57 will remain closed until further notice. Stay safe and avoid the area if possible.
