Grundy County Man killed in LaSalle County motorcycle crash Saturday

MORRIS, IL – A tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 76-year-old man from Grundy County on Saturday. Francis M. Grimes, a resident of Morris, lost his life when his motorcycle veered off a curve on Gentleman-Trumbo Rd. in LaSalle County.

Grimes was the only person involved in the crash, and no other vehicles were present at the scene. The incident occurred southwest of Marseilles, a small town in Illinois known for its scenic countryside roads popular among motorcycle enthusiasts.

As investigations into the crash continue, authorities are urging all motorcyclists to prioritize safety and adhere to road rules to prevent similar tragedies.
