Naperville Woman Arrested for Morning DUI Crash and Alleged Battery of Police Officer

MORRIS, Ill. – A Naperville woman was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing her vehicle at 9:30 a.m. last Friday.

According to Morris Police, Jennifer Schultz, 35, allegedly rear-ended another vehicle May 5th at the intersection of Route 47 and Route 6. Officials charged Schultz with DUI, DUI over .08, and resisting an officer, all class A misdemeanors. 

During the arrest, she allegedly kicked a female police officer, resulting in an additional charge of Aggravated Battery/Police Officer, a class two felony. 

She was released on $2,000 bond.
