As the Village of Bourbonnais prepares for the return of the Chicago Bears Training Camp at Olivet Nazarene University, traffic flow into and out of the heavily-attended event is taken into consideration. Today, Monday, July 15, 2019, temporary stop signs have been placed at the corner of Armour Road and Stadium Drive to help alleviate traffic congestion. These signs will be removed at the conclusion of the training camp. Motorists are reminded to use caution at this intersection and take note of the temporary signage.

The 2019 training camp is scheduled Saturday, July 27 through Saturday, August 10 with anticipated increased traffic flow times before and after camp practices. Please take alternative routes when necessary.

“For 18 years, the Village of Bourbonnais has welcomed Chicago Bears and fans,” Mayor Paul Schore said. “We appreciate everyone’s patience during the few weeks of training camp and invite all to experience this community event.”
