BOURBONNAIS, IL – The Bradley-Bourbonnais Chick-fil-A, owned by Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) alumni Jon ’90 and Michelle (King) Klavohn ’88, celebrated a heartwarming moment Friday as they awarded a total of $19,500 in scholarships to nine team members.
Six of the nine attend Olivet Nazarene University accounting for $13,500 in scholarships, while three additional team members received scholarships for their schools.
The scholarship recipients were honored at a ceremony held at Olivet’s Douglas E. Perry Student Life and Recreation Center. These Leadership Scholarships are part of the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship program, which recognizes Chick-fil-A employees who have demonstrated care and service, maintained a minimum GPA, and have been recommended by an Operator.
“We are so grateful to be able to partner with Olivet and Chick-fil-A to help all of these students as they pursue higher education!” said Jon Klavohn on Friday on behalf of Chick-fil-A.
The Bradley-Bourbonnais Chick-fil-A opened in 2022 and has already become a shining example of ONU alumni’s commitment to making a difference in their community.
