Friends of the Bourbonnais Library will present Phyllis Diller Is ON! by historical interpreter, Ellie Carlson, on Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the White Oak Conference Room at the Bourbonnais Public Library, 250 W. John Casey Rd.

In Carlson’s newest costumed interpretation, she will bring to life America’s first female stand-up comedienne, Phyllis Diller.  Carlson will give audiences a glimpse of backstage Phyllis while delighting with on stage antics.

This free program is funded by proceeds from the annual Friends of the Library book sale.  A mini book sale will be held one hour prior to the program with books priced at $.50 and $1.  For more information, visit bourbonnaislibrary.org or call 815-933-1727.
