Kankakee Kays host Rich East in Regional Championship tonight

Kankakee Kays (3) host Rich East (6) in Regional Championship tonight at 7pm at Kankakee High School.

The game is the first round of the Winter 2020 IHSA Boys Basketball State Championships.  The Kays are having one of their best seasons in school history with a record of 25-4 during the 2019/2020 season.

The winner of tonight’s game will face the winner of Oak Forest vs. Thornton Fractional North in the Sectional Semifinals on 3/11. You can check out the full Tournament bracket here.

The next chapter of Kankakee basketball history is written tonight!It is the Regional Championship at Kankakee as the Kays take on Rich East. At 25 wins to 4 losses on the 2019/2020 season this current Kays team is building a case for themselves as one of the best in school history. We are calling Kays, Eastridge Raiders, Westview Kayhawks and all basketball fans in our community to come out and be a part of this excitement.
