Do you have prescription drugs lying around the house?

Later today, bring your unwanted or expired medications to Momence City Hall where they will be disposed of in accordance with the law by law enforcement officials.

“This initiative aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while educating the public about the potential for abuse and overdose.  This service is provided FREE of charge.”  says Colton Ekhoff, Kankakee County Board Member, District 2.

Coroner Bob Gessner, Sheriff Mike Downey, Chief Brian Brucato, State’s Attorney Jim Rowe, Mayor Chuck Steele, Board Mmeber Tinker Paker and the Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group (KAMEG) are proud to partner on this initiative.

The program runs from 10am-noon on Saturday.
