Cedar Lake, IN – A residential fire Sunday near the Cedar Lake Country Club mobilized Cedar Lake Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 5141 and a broad network of mutual aid at 2:33 pm, according to official reports. 

The incident occurred in the 11800 block of 115th Pl, a challenging non-hydranted area, necessitating extensive teamwork to manage the blaze. 

Despite the complexities, the operation was marked by no reported injuries, underscoring the effective response from the attending crews who worked on scene for several hours. In a display of profound appreciation, a Cedar Lake fire official extended thanks to the fifteen different agencies that responded to the scene.
