Welfare check discovers two bloody, dead

HOBART – A welfare check Friday afternoon led to the discovery of two dead bodies bleeding from multiple spots.

According to Hobart Police, it happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon when officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Ruta Drive.   Officers arriving on the scene were met by a building maintenance worker who allowed officers access to the residence to check on the occupants.

Upon entering the residence, Police found two people unresponsive, bleeding from multiple places on their bodies.  

The victim’s identification is being withheld pending next of kin notification.  No word on what initially lead officers to the violent scene.

The deaths remain under investigation.
